I lift up my eyes to the hills...

I lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip - he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you - the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm - he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Ps. 121

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever - do not abandon the works of your hands. Ps. 138:8

For the Lord has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling; "This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it - I will bless her with abundant provisions"... Ps. 132:15

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. Ps. 20:7

Its a freeing thing to realize God is ultimately responsible for my needs. All of them. And that He himself has chosen to dwell in me for ever and ever, that he will continue to provide for me. Its not by chariots or horses. Its not by man and his finances. Its not by my words or actions. It is solely by His faithfulness. He will not abandon the work He has begun. RAIN and POUR Lord!
