This weekend we had a lot of fun. Friday, Nate and I got to go on a lovely date night. We went to dinner and then saw a movie - Love Happens with Jennifer Aniston, which was cute. I love going on dates with the hubster! Then on Saturday, Nate's mom drove down from Lancaster just to visit for a little while! That was really nice of her and we had a good time together - she also delivered our first batch of wedding gifts, so that was really fun getting to open some of our presents (thanks everyone!!!). Frederick has this "In the Streets" thing they do every year, and it happened on Saturday. So Nate, Cathy (Nate's mom), and myself walked around downtown after having lunch at a mexican restaurant on the patio. We then met up with our friends Tim and Jamie for a little bit (they live 30 miles away from us, but drove up to see the festivities). Later in the evening our friend Kyle visited for dinner from Baltimore. I made greek turkey burgers topped with greek salsa. Mmmm. It was really nice seeing a lot of people we know all in one day!
We went to a church this morning that I think we really like and will probably go back to again to see if we want to start attending it. I am excited to get involved in a church since it has been a while since I've been involved in one regularly. Nate and I then ran to Verizon to get our phones put under a family plan (yay for saving money), and then walked on a trail at a park. Now we are both on our separate laptops, relaxing and taking it slow. I'm about to make apple cider and read : ) ahhhhh. Love it.
Here's a few photos of the outside of our apartment building and some of the inside so you can see the kitchen. . . yes, I am wearing an apron. I own two : )

I'll post more photos of our place as things get organized. Its just messy now. Ha.

Yum apple cider. Can I have some. It has been raining all day here. Kind of weird for Colorado in October if you ask me, and a warm beverage would really hit the spot. Your place looks very cute. I look forward to more pictures. I have lots of faith in your ability to organize it and find a place for everything. You can do it! Love you friend.
I'm guessing you ordered cheese enchiladas.
i'm not sure who anonymous is, but yes, i did order cheese enchiladas : )
awesome!! love to see you barefoot in the kitchen.
